During the event, the authors will give an analysis of the visions and concerns that local communities, administrations and various stakeholders have regarding the development scenarios of these areas, which for a long period have based their economy on ski seasons. Liquid Winter wants to be an investigative work aimed at involving communities concerned with the issue of the climate crisis and it wants to become a source of inspiration for a series of books aiming at tackling the impacts of the current crisis in a systemic way.

The presentation becomes an important opportunity to rediscover the highlands, the inland areas of our peninsula and their inestimable biodiversity.

The Conference is organised in the framework of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master programme in Climate Change and Diversity: Sustainable Territorial Development
